Stan Bowd Vendor Challenge – Event Wrap & Placegetters

The first-ever Stan Bowd Vendor Challenge was a standout success at the Great Southern Yearling Sale, delivering an impressive showcase of quality horses and exceptional horsemanship across all three phases of competition.

Designed to highlight the depth, versatility and potential of sale horses, the challenge proved exactly what it set out to do — showing that the proof is in the pudding. Breeders had the opportunity to demonstrate the calibre of their programs, and the event reinforced the potential of every horse presented through the sale.

Competitors contested three sections — the Working Section, Cattle Section, and Time Trial — each generously supported by event sponsors.

Section Sponsors

  • CR Equine – Working Section

  • Cudgegong Valley Vets – Cattle Section

  • Lone Pine ASH Stud – Time Trial
